FLEXIBILITY
e-CRF CTDMS modular structure allows a flexible and progressive adoption of all the specific required functions: in this way the acquisition is limited to the specific necessities of every research activity and the system is easily adapted to pre-existent procedures and technologies.
All along with a solid architecture and a predefined functional structure, grown during several years of experience and implementation of C.R.N.M.S.s in international studies, CTDMS also offers unique features regarding configuration and customization issues.
The Customer may ask for existent functions to be quite substantially remodelled or even for new software modules to be created to meet specific procedures and particulare research needs. The system customization may be realized in a very short time and with a limited economic expense, due to the particular planning and implementing techniques employed.
In a field characterized by a great technological and operative dynamism like clinical research, the adaptive activity of the working instruments is decisive.
For this reason, CTDMS technological architecture, with no installations required on the workstations, is better than any other traditional Client-Server software, both for management costs and newer versions updates.
In fact, once a section of the system on the main server has been modified, the new feature is immediately and automatically available for all users without any update operation at the peripheral level.
At this point it is important to notice that CTDMS is projected, implemented and technically managed using standard open technologies.
All previous investments in technology are totally preserved thanks to the integration and reshaping of procedures and data managed by the system.
The economical investments required to adopt the C.R.N.M.S. are preserved due to the possibility of re-employment of non-proprietary and non-exclusive technologies acquired with the system.
